Hi John,

I have a Woods 5000 chipper/shredder. It's a pretty beefy unit and if you have the HP you can chip 5" logs!!
I have it on my 24HP B-2410 and it does 3"+ poplar and pine with little strain. It is manual or gravity feed and cost about $2500. Bush Hog also makes a similar unit. Good Luck.

I'm going to be changing the hydraulic system filters on my 2001 b-2410 soon and have a few questions. First, the 2 filters I got to replace the factory filters are a different physical size than the originals. When I asked the parts guy at my dealer he said they were ok.(not the much reassurance there) The owners manual makes no reference to part numbers for these filters. how do I tell them apart? can someone tell me which filter part # goes on what side of the tractor? Second, does the strainer have to be cleaned everytime the filter on the right side of the tractor is replaced? Third, How much hydraulic fluid should I have on hand to top off the system after replacing both filters and cleaning the strainer? The manual makes no indication about how much fluid will be lost during the maintenance procedures. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks gentlemen,
I was hoping there was something out there. Bird, I have a B2410 with FEL. I used to have a B7300 and that was a bit easier to reach over the back to give the top link a twist or two in the proper direction. However with the B2410 The top link seems to be quite a bit farther away and much more difficult to adjust from the saddle. Do any of you have a manufacturer name you could toss to me.
